This project I am pleasantly surprised with how it came out. Although it does not look too good I expected it to be much worse. This mask is made with a mask mold then I built it off that. I painted it in underglaze, Then covered the whole project in clear glaze. I got the inspiration for this project because it is a mask that appears from the Legend of Zelda series. The hardest part and probably most frustrating was the symmetry of the project. I made this piece from low-fire white, and  I used java bean, white, and blue, and hot tamale, and tuxedo.

This I would say is another one of my favorite projects, I first got the idea to make this because the previous Chester I made in ceramics had broken so I thought it would be good to make a new one.  I created this project from two different pinch pots. I used a varied amount of different glazes but I tried to keep it to the inspiration. If you can tell I changed the light on the monster head off and replaced it with a horn because I saw it as impossible to do although I did try it. The project is made from low-fire white and is also inspired by a game. The one thing I changed is make the lower body shorter because it looks too tall.

This Project is inspired from a magical beast that are named the sky bison.  I was absolutly in love with this project and I was so so happy with the outcome. I made the body from a double pinch pot, and I also made the head from another pinch pot. Each individual leg was a pinch pot that was hollowed. Unfortually I lost it in the kiln and it blew up. I am almost 100% sure that I covered everyposibility of it blowing up but it still did. I might reatempt to make this project just because of how much I liked it but I dont want it to shatter again.

These two projects are two failed moster projects.  These projects blew up in kiln and it is quite a shame. I was quote happy how they both turned out but I made simple mistakes that caused them to blow up. After analizing both of my low fire white pieces I have realized what I have done wrong. My first project blew up from laying clay on each other and it made it explode. Then my secound monster blew up because I didnt hollow out the top very well. I have realized that I was far to excited and focused on the outside that I made the rookie mistake of not taking care of the inside.

Final Project:

My Final project was a recreation of a piece by Franz Mark, named the white bull(Der Stier). Franz had training from 1900 to 1902 he studied at the Kunstakademie in Munich with Gabriel Hackl and Wilhelm von Diez. Marc impacted as he was one of the founding members of the radical movement Der Blaue Reiter, also known as The Blue Rider, which made the case for a mystical modern art. I chose to do this artist because I liked their animal art. I made this piece from a wedged ball of clay then layer pieces to give it dimension, then I hollowed it and glazed it. A challenge that I had was keeping the bull smooth. Although I was successfully able to get the rough shape. Last the glazes I used were tuxedo, Java Bean, hot tamale, orange-a-peel, and gray hare.
